Synthetic colours, derived from petroleum, coal tar and heavy metals, can increase risk of irritation and block pores.
PEGS, used to make ingredients softer on skin.
Phthalates, used to help synthetic fragrance last longer. A known endocrine disruptor.
Silicones, are synthetic materials like plastic, they are not a biodegradable material. But unlike plastic, silicone doesn’t break down into microplastics over the course of time.
Phenoxyethanol, a preservative and hidden parfum/fragrance ingredient used in cosmetic products, can cause irritation or allergic reaction. Restricted in some countries.
